Me and my father went to Ghana this summer. We had a beautiful trip and used the Bradt guide very intensively.
We also found a beautiful place which was not included in the guide.
The place is called Paps Beach Camp. This sleeping accommodation is placed between Keta and Ada Foah. It’s very idyllic, with nice wooden cottages on the beach, only accessible by boat. The cottages are primitive but clean. There is a compost toilet on the beach, no showers, but clean water to wash with. Also there is a little bar with one/two tables where you can order something from the menu. The last day, the owner brought us to Ada Foah with the boat.
In short, we think Paps Beach camp should be added in the new edition of the Bradt. Especially because in this area we did not found any other good places to sleep next to the sea. We got the advice from the owner of Meet me There, closeby.
