Your readers might be interested to visit what I believe to be the only certified glass blower in West Africa, Mr Michael Tetteh.
Glassblowing was for ages a lost craft in Ghana and West Africa, but Michael was awarded a scholarship to Netherlands & France to learn the art. When he returned to Ghana, he was discouraged from pursing his craft by his fellow Krobo bead makers but he never gave up. He could not afford to purchase his annealer and Kline so he used his technical knowledge to build his own. His glass blowing studio is located in Eastern Region at Odumase Krobo, Off Casino Junction, behind the Jehovah Witness Chapel.
