We’d like to commend highly the Almond Tree Guesthouse in Elmina. We love evrything about the place. The rooms were clean and inviting. The owners and staff were hospitable. But most of all, what struck us was the collection of dozens of photos and captions about persons with African roots – whether they were themselves African, Jamaican, British or American – who had made the world a better place to live. We thought the collection was museum quality and greatly enjoyed wandering the halls and exploring the photos and history.
