We took over Sparkles Restaurant from the previous management in
August 2009. The place is located inside the Centre for National
Culture in Tamale. The terrace is now roofed, we’ve put in hygienic
toilets and a new kitchen. Outside, we also made a beautiful lounge
area so people can relax and enjoy the good food, a cold drink and the
nice atmosphere in the shade with a cool breeze from the ceiling fans.
We serve all popular drinks and our menu consists of both continental
and local dishes. Prices range from GHc 5.00 for a snack to GHc 9.00
for a decent meal.
Sparkles distinguishes itself from other restaurants in town by its
well trained staff and the soft choice of music that is played. From
the menu, the pizza is exquisite, home made lasagna is served and
lovers of local cuisine adore the banku with talapia.
In no time, Sparkles Restaurant has become the central meeting place
for volunteers, tourists and businessmen. We reach a well mixed
audience and are very proud of that.
The newly opened Asempa Lodge is located at Kumasi Road, opposite SOS
Children’s Village (http://wikimapia.org/18482765/Asempa-Lodge – the
sattelite picture is outdated, but it gives an idea of the location).
When you are coming from Kumasi or Mole, you reach the lodge before
you reach town and can inform the driver to drop you at our doorstep.
The place is easy to locate and you can park in front of the attached

The swimming pool and poolside bar are only to be used by guests, in
