I went to the crocodile ponds in Paga a few months back and visited the chiefs pond on the left as you drive towards the border it was well run and friendly and i spent half an hour and felt it was money worth spending. However when i went to the pond down the right hand turning along the road (i forget the name and have left your guide book in the hostle – sorry)i was charged a lot more, 18 cedi for two people 1 camera and 2 chickens, i got about 2 minutes and was hurried away very quickly. this annoyed me somewhat as not only bad service but very un-ghanaian and that is why i thought i should send this incase you have heard of similar incidents
PS the chiefs pool is building a new visitor buildng – not finished yet
